The most sustainable wire-in-tube
In July 2023, Draka introduced PROFIT E-LINE, a combination of the well-known PROFIT wire-in-tube with the brand new VD E-LINE. This creates the most durable pre-wired pipe on the market.
VD E-LINE is characterized by 100% recycled copper, insulation with biobased ingredients, a recyclable Octabox made from recycled material and 75% less plastic wrapping film for pallets.
Draka produces and assembles PROFIT E-LINE entirely in Emmen. These choices give the product a 20 percent lower CO2 footprint. R&D is already working on making the tubes even more sustainable.
