To fulfill that mission, Draka developed different types of Alupac cables. Draka's Alupac portfolio consists of high-quality products for various applications.
Draka can apply the Alupac protection to cables for low voltage, medium voltage and instrumentation. For example, Draka offers a total solution with which large (petro)chemical companies can install complete installations.

De petrochemische industrie vertrouwt al vele jaren op grondkabels met een loodmantel, ter bescherming tegen olie en chemische stoffen. Prysmian Group introduced ALUPAC in 2001. Since then, renowned industrial companies around the world have been using cables with this protection. ALUPAC has therefore fully proven its functionality.
SERVICES
It is currently difficult for installers and specifiers to determine how sustainable a cable product is. There are no specific, certified eco-labels for the cable industry. This slows down the sustainability and CO2 reduction of electrical installations. To meet the growing demand for proof of environmentally friendly products, parent company Prysmian Group has become the first cable manufacturer to develop its own EcoCable label for cabling.
