VD E-LINE makes PROFIT the most durable pre-wired tube.
Draka PROFIT E-LINE is the most durable pre-wired tube on the market. This is because Draka combines its PROFIT wire-in-tube with its 'green' VD E-LINE. Draka produces and assembles PROFIT E-LINE entirely in Emmen. Partly as a result of this, the new product has a more than 20 percent lower CO2 footprint.
From August, VD E-LINE is therefore not only available separately, but also as a wire-in-tube variant. This makes PROFIT E-LINE the second product in the new range of more sustainable cable solutions for low-voltage installations. Draka E-LINE products have a reduced environmental impact. This environmental impact is determined on the basis of the EcoCable classification system of Prysmian Group. This is the first specific eco-label (system) for cables. Just like VD E-LINE, the EcoCable label is provided with PROFIT E-LINE .
New products coming
With the recent introduction of the E-LINE portfolio, Draka promised to add new products every year. She is already keeping that promise with PROFIT E-LINE. Major contractors, installers and specifiers are showing much and increasing interest in Draka E-LINE, partly due to the need to make new homes more sustainable.
Meanwhile, the sustainability of PROFIT is not standing still: R&D is working on making the pipes more sustainable as well. In addition, Draka also wants to launch E-LINE variants of VULT installation wire and Barnicol cast resin this year.
